Hi! I am a British voice actor, hailing from the rural county of Herefordshire, and now based near London.
Adaptible, dedicated and equipped with a serious acting toolbox of accents and ability, I can become anything from apocalypse survivor to pollen-drunk fairy, and I am very serious about having fun in the booth!
In my free time, you can find me working on my stand-up comedy, hanging upside down on a circus hoop, or walking (alright, being walked by) my rescue dog Arfie.
I am also a proud lesbian and mental health advocate, who lives with obsessive-compulsive disorder. It's a pain in the butt.
My home studio includes:
-Studiobricks ONE VO edition sound isolation booth
-Neumann TLM103
-Audient iD14 interface
-Zoom/Discord/Source Connect Now
-Not a hoop (bit cramped)
Acting chops require acting chops upkeep- I've been a member of the Character Acting Programme's hand-selected Inner Circle since 2021 and a Teaching Assistant for the 22-23 year.
I've also attended multiple Voiceover Intensives through The Voiceover Network, working one-on-one with top notch voice actors and casting directors (twice flying to Los Angeles to do it- go big or go home)!
Outside of voice acting, I studied Television Production at university, with a focus on scriptwriting and comedy.
My voice acting journey starts with something a little less exciting: loss. Cancer took three of my grandparents in quick succession, just before my wonderful mum was also diagnosed the day before my seventeenth birthday.
Cartoons and video games, and their characters and worlds, became a sanctuary. I supported my mum as she kicked cancer's butt, but I couldn't help but think about the regrets my grandparents shared with me before they left: things they hadn't done, journeys they didn't take, jobs they didn't even try to get because they were "not for people like them". I wouldn't feel like that- not a chance!
After graduating from uni, and receiving that beautiful 'all clear from cancer' that my mum deserved, she cheered me on to make good on that promise to myself. I gathered all of my courage, and started the career I really wanted!
